Yeppers! This seller knows how to pack a valuable scope! He wrapped it lots of bubble wrap. The end cap screws into the PVC tube. USPS is pretty good, but he took no chances. I'm impressed! 8) ;) :)

The seller was Austin1 on gunbroker.

He charged $30.00 for shipping. That included insurance, deliverly comfirmation, postage, and the cost of the custom made PVC tube. The postage sticker shows it cost him $27.46 postage. He made no $ on the $30.00 shipping charge.

I got an awsome scope!

I would, to prove it was a working scope worth what I was insuring it for.

He even used shc40! Must have known who he was dealing with.

Actually, I have no gripes w/ USPS.

Now, UPS and FedEx...those two outfits are another story :(

FedEx likes delivering my packages to the neighbors..stuff like Computers valued @ 1K ???

UPS likes opening my packages of gourmet coffee, helping themselves to a box, then doing a clumsy job of sealing up the box and delivering it. >:(

BTW, the Unertl 30X performs! Here it is on a .22 (sorry, it IS a Winchester 52-C)

a 5 shot 50-yard group. $ shots into one hole. I failed to notice the tails on my flag had dropped for the last shot. MY fault for not making a 5-shot one-holer!
