I have a Savage 12 300 WSM, 2003ish vintage, ADL mag, Accutrigger, 4.41” bolt spacing,….that I want to fit to this stock and bottom metal. Can it be done? How do I do it?

Caliber is unclear right now….thinking 300 WSM, 6.5 PRC, 6 Creedmoor, etc

Hi, first post.

I've got the same situation with a different stock. I bought a Woox Furiosa stock in walnut for my 110 Tactical, vintage last year (fired only a dozen times so far). The bottom metal is AICS / Accurate Mag. The Woox wants the old factory DBM. When I bought it, I assumed this WAS factory, because... well, it came on the gun!

Well, lo and behold, nope, that's not at all what they meant. I'm learning all this the hard, expensive way. I have been over and over the forum's search but I'm finding really zilch that addresses this well. The inletting on the stock is roughly 1/4" too narrow for this AICS bottom metal. That's too much to attempt fitting, I'll destroy one of both of these expensive items. I've got a contact form email in to Accurate Mag to ask about this situation - to see if there is a version of the old metal that will fit the AICS pattern mags. I may have to ditch the cool-guy mags (tm) and go with the too-expensive old stuff in order to get the rifle put together.

I'll let you know what they say if they get back to me. Woox didn't after two business days.
