How hard is it to find a correct vintage 110L LEFT HAND stock for my first series leftie?
I'm struggling with this aftermarket stock and if I have to give it up I don't really want to go to Boyd's.
Don't get me wrong, Boyd's makes really nice stocks, but they are kind of bulky, and having seen a few early 110's I think I might like to put this barreled action back in an original stock.
When did Savage quit the ring around the barrel for the rear sight? Will a later stock fit this top bolt release action?

Thanks, Mike

Savage stopped using the ring or band on post-66 models.

Thanks! So then, in theory I should be able to fit any left hand 110 pre-66 stock to my 1958 barreled action? Talk about looking for the proverbial dinosaur! I may be better off thinning down a Boyd's stock. Thanks again, Mike

I just got a original stock from Numrich for my Gen1 110, it was right handed, but check them.
