My name is Jack, I’ve been shooting in a 22LR, 50 ft indoor/outdoor iron sight league for 30+ yrs. I’ve finished 2nd, 3 times and never lower than 8th (out of 60-80 active shooters), shooting everything from a Remington 510 Targetmaster, single shot, to a Ruger Precision Rimfire. On Monday, I picked up 2 Savages, I picked up a B22 FV-SR and a Mark II F. I bought the B22 new and the F slightly used for an additional $100, as part of a package deal. I just installed the iron sights on the FV-SR and will start the sighting in process in the morning. The F is awaiting the Skinner Sights rear peep sight, that was ordered on Tuesday. I’m hoping the FV-SR to be either a replacement or a occasional substitute for the currently used Ruger Precision Rimfire and the Christensen Arms Ranger 22. I’m looking forward participating in the forum.
