12FV .22-250 to .204 Ruger?

I have a Savage 12FV with the center feed internal magazine in .22-250. I’d like to convert this to a .204 Ruger? Is this possible based on the magazine setup? I’d like to use the same B&C stock it sits in.

Most likely going to need a Savage .204/.223 blind magazine box and follower. Also need to change out bolt head to smaller face on .223/.204 cartridges.

Yes.

From the factory they also use a different front baffle that shortens the bolt stroke to accommodate the shorter cartridge. A good idea but not required.
