I got a Savage Axis II Precision in 6.5 Creedmoor a few months ago, and it has quickly become my favorite! I resisted the 6mm hoopla for a couple years, but I broke down when I saw this rifle. I put a Vortex Diamondback tactical 6-24X50 on top in an Aero precision lightweight mount. And I added a Mechforce 6.5 muzzle brake out front. I changed out the bolt handle/bolt knob and put on a UTG recon flex bipod. I haven’t found any factory ammo it doesn’t like, but I really enjoy hand loading for it. I was running out of H4350, and I found a couple lbs of Shooters World “Precision” so I thought I’d give it a try. Figured it would at least work good in a hunting load, and I had some Hornady 129 grain SP Interlock bullets I wanted to try, so I loaded up 5 each of 4 different charges and shot them today. WOW! Really impressed so far. Definately good enough to knock out a hog or two! I have some Hornady 147 grain ELD-Match bullets to try next. These are the best 2 five shot groups with what I had loaded for today.

Good shooting! Nice when it all comes together. Interested in how the Shooters World powder does. If you can find any Reloader 16 you may like it better than H4350.
