Wondering does anyone use this stock, and what do you think of it? Does it lock open solidly?

If you want the worst possible stock to ever put on a rifle, that's the one to get. Terrible balance, sloppy hinge, a grip that feels like a cheese grater, and just plain ugly.

Mr. Furious,

So, does that mean you've got one you need to get rid of before you burn it or something?

Nope, never owned one but have handled one a few times and know I'd never waste my money on one. It's basically a gimmick stock for the websuit ninja types that are more worried about getting the "tacti-cool" look than they are functionality of the rifle.

OK, nuff said, I wasnt interested in the folding part, just that it weighs 3 1/2 pounds instead of 7.

What stock were you looking at that weighs 7 pounds??? I think my SSS HBR stock weighs about 5 or 6, and my B&C Medalist is about 3.....

I've got one of those (the non-folding one). Don't like it. Just not real good for anything. The ultimate varmint is a much better stock in matters of comfort and usability. It's still a heavy bugger, though. If you need a light stock, stay away from both of these. But for the money, the varmint is a good stock.
