You outta check out the newer Arken SH4 Gen2 scopes. 4-16 version is only $399.00, and is more than capable to handle whatever you tasks you decide to throw at it. The 6-24 version is in stock, and only $449.00.

I ended up picking up an Athlon Midas BTR Gen2 4.5-27x50, based on reviews and some personal recommendations. I love it - great price and REALLY nice glass. The Vortex made its way back to its permanent home on one of the ARs, so all is right with the world.

Now if the Florida weather will just cooperate, it would be even better!
