Says I can't post a picture.
took some 40 grain V Max apart
That were crimped for a gas gun.
Guess they were crimped a little too much,
they have a dent all the way around where the crimp was.
I figure it would change the flight a lot down range.
Any opinions would be appreciated.

Crimping will increase the pressure more than likely increasing the speed more than likely changing the point of impact to the same load uncrimped. The barrel grooves will do more to the O.D. of your bullet than your crimp.
