Hi looking for a little help here. The only 7mm bullet I can find for sale at this time is 185 grain. Is it possible to reload this weight bullet in a 7mm-08? All the published loading info I can find stops at 180 grain.

It depends on what the twist rate of your rifle is and the muzzle velocity. I would guess that the rifling twist and available powder capacity will not be enough to stabilize the bullet.

What bullet and weight are you wanting for your 7mm? What is your objective, hunting, target, etc?

I suspect he just needs something to reload and shoot. Most sources the only available bullets are the very heavy for caliber stuff.

He must have figured something out. I offered 100 PPU 140 gr HPBT, new in bag. For exactly what I have in them plus shipping. I guess I will shoot them someday.
