Hey Wolf - Does your Mk have the AccuTrigger? That should go down to about 3-4# before needing mods. Them polishing is the next step. If it's the 'old-style' trigger you should be able to find YouTube vids showing how to mod down to 1-2#. I have a 64 and B22 and have both of them down about 2#. A trick I found online is to take the 'main' trigger spring and heat it red-hot with a lighter or torch (NOT Acetyl-Ha!)m then let it cool slowly on it's own. This takes off a lot of the tension, prob 1-2#. I also polished ALL parts that 'rub' - lightly with 1000g or finer w/d paper and oil. Then I put a tiny dab of synthetic grease on the contact points. Bolt actions don't allow much residue get into the action compared to semis, so a bit of grease won't hurt things.
