Thinking of turning an on-hand 111 LA with bottom metal (formerly .270 plastic stock) into a .257 Roberts put onto a Lady Hunter stock, if Numrich has one. Savage’s 111 Lady Hunter is listed in .270.
Wondering what to expect for bottom metal and magazine fit between a plastic stock 111 and Lady Hunter wood stock?
Will .270 drop box mag work with 257 Roberts?
Barrel would be new a new 22” sporter. I’ll ask Bartlein, which is local to me. They matched a Savage contour for me before. Also crowned and headspace.
