I've enjoyed collecting and researching firearms for quite a few years now. I recently bought a Savage model 29 at auction and was doing some internet searching on it when I found your website. I remember as a youngster in the sixties going to carnivals and shooting 22s at the "shooting gallery" which is what sparked my interest in a "gallery gun". Through your website I was able to determine my model 29 SN# 2009 was made in the first year of production. Thanks
