I am building a 22 TCM I have a 4.40 bottom bolt release action. I will be using a single shot follower. A bind stock would nice. Any one got any ideas on what to try and find..

This is a decent laminate stock, plug and play unless you want to bed it. Not sure about BBR on this one https://www.eabco.net/Savage-Thumbhole-Varmint-Stock_p_14233.html

If you'd like to customize and perform most of the work yourself, A Richards Microfit is a fun project .http://www.rifle-stocks.com/target_style's.htm

Stockysstocks has many options: https://www.stockysstocks.com/

Can we step back a minute. Manufactured ammo is like 1.250 or a little more for a 40 grain. The real important issue is the case length...1.022. do you think you can get that to eject in a short action. I think you would have better luck with a mini action. I think Howa makes one and maybe there is a modern Mauser mini action. Not certain about the last one but that is probably the way to go. If you could find a mini in 223 you might come out miles ahead. Great idea and I have interest in your project. What powder do you plan on using? Seems like the factory would use a powder for a pistol length barrel.

You could do some research, if you have not already done this, you could look for the action with the shortest dimension from the breach to the action lugs. a Remington 788 may be the best option in the end.
