Hi,
I’m John from Maine, Sebago Lake area for locals. My first rifle was a savage 22lr bolt action single shot, still have it though I didn’t for years and it’s in rough shape. I was then given a Stevens O/U 30-30/20ga for my first year hunting at 10. Then I really went the way of gas guns, carbine courses and some 3 gun. Just getting into bolt guns and want to compete in the future. Have nerve damage in my feet so fast paced stuff is a thing of the past. Currently got a new MKii fv-sr I’m setting up to practice trigger work snd teach the kids. I’d like to get a 110 short action to build myself something in 308 or maybe 6.5cm. Found this forum looking for chassis options for the mkii but like the look of things.
