My name is Vince and I live in Vermont so "VtVince".

I'm a new Savage owner and I already have questions so I thought I'd join the forum. If I can answer any questions, I will, but I'm normally not big on posting.
I'm not new to guns by any means. I'm 66 and my dad had me shooting a .22 when I was 5 years old. My first rifle was an Apache Black Nylon 66 and my first centerfire was a Mosin Nagant M38. I'm a lifetime member of the local gun club and love going up there to meditate.

Welcome from Texas, Vince. Those FINNISH Mosin's were outstanding guns. I have had a few in my 64 years... I wish I still had one... Will see you around here hopefully!!! Take care!!
