Building a new rifle...been gone for a while, still lurk but getting active again, just sent off a membership renewal too...
Picked up (actually a gift) a 1977ish 110 Flat Top in 30-06 as a donor. Ya'll know I like them fat truck axle long(er) range guns. So....
Have a 5-20 Vortex scope in a box from a trade. Need a EGW 20MOA LA Flat top rail. Already have a set of Burris Extreme Rings.
Just scored a new, unfired 6.5CM 24" Fluted/Threaded barrel off the classifieds (thanks JEEPSANDGUNS)
Found SS PTG recoil lug in my armorers box from another build. Need to find a large bolt handle.
Scored a B&C M40 LA stock but still waiting on delivery. Will get a PTG Bottom metal for it soon. Will run a Magpul Bipod on a small Picatinny rail section.
The three screw trigger on the action is amazing so it'll stay.
Will glass bed and install aluminum pillars as well.
Right now I'd like to ask if there's anyone who has a set of 6.5CM Go/No Go gauges or even just a Go gauge I can borrow?
Will post pics as I proceed.
Keep an eye for me on the classifieds as I am selling a nice 110 Wood Stock and a 30-06 Sporter barrel.
