Hello, I'm from a city south of sanfrancisco. And like to collect older, and unique guns, with a particular interest in military rifles that were sporterised in the 50's and 60's after ww11

Welcome to the group. You'd be interested in the 1892 Mauser I have that was sporterized sometime in the late 60s. Military stock was redone into the Mannlicher style, bolt handle bent and barrel cut and crowned at 20" with military rear sight removed. I bought the rifle for the princely sum of $60 in Clovis New Mexico back in 1973.
