View Full Version : Accutrigger spring source?

I've put together a walk around coyote/groundhog rifle, a LH mdl 11 with a Shilen SS select match 24" 22-250 barrel. The trigger will only go down to about 3lb 5oz and I'd like it to be less.

Does anyone know of a source for the "varmint" accutrigger spring?

Thanks, Justin

I may have a few spare varmint springs. I'll check and get back to you with a PM if I do.

Mailed it out today, USPS priority. Hopefully it'll arrive before the roads get slick as snot with this polar vortex arrival.

Keep'm tight.

If you don't get all the results you hope for, with just a spring, consider the Timney trigger. It is very easy to install and adjust.

I went with 2.5 pounds but could have gone lighter.

Steve
My spring arrived today and is installed. With the original spring the trigger pull weight at the lowest adjustment averaged 3lbs 5.5oz. With the spring you sent it's averaging 1lb 12oz. When the load work up is finished on the bench I'll adjust it up to 2 1/2lbs or so.

Thanks again. Justin

Glad I could help, Justin.

My thanks to Robinhood, too for the fine compliment.

Lot's of good people here on this one of a kind great website. I especially enjoy the lack of tribal warfare here, that is so prevalent on some other sites.
