hello all! I am new to the Savage world having just gotten my A17 before Thanksgiving. I have put about 1,000 rounds through and love it. I have the semi auto with the gray stock. recently I was in my local Wal Mart and saw a Savage 22 that is bright kelly green which I think is called Zombie green, It came with a boyds custom stock with adjustable chin rest and a scope all for 259.00 so Of course I bought it. I am curious as to how it came to WM because the BOyds stock alone is as much as I paid for the rifle. My dad was a gunsmith so guns as not new to me. I also own a ruger LCP Lite rack, a 1022 rifle and an SR 22. I also have 2 38 specials, a Luger 9mm a Colt 1911 45 , a 303 enfield and several old shotguns from relatives. I LOVE shooting and have standing appointments at my local outdoor range every sunday one hour pistol ,one hour rifle. I am retired from Hartford Insurance and enjoy retirement in SW FL.I also enjoy riding my Harley and shooting archery. I have been married almost 50 years to my childhood sweetie who enjoys the same activities.
