About me. Hi, my name is Ty. I'm a retired Marine (25 years) and live in Northern Virginia. Along with the shooting sports, I play old boys rugby, am a Jeep/truck/off-road enthusiast, like to hike the trails (VA, PA, NJ), and enjoy spending time with my lovely bride, kids, and grandkids.
In addition to my Savage Model 112 Series J in .243Win, 26" barrel (flat receiver, early short action (mid-length)), I am interested in/have other bolt action rifles, large frame ARs, shotguns, and handguns. I regularly shoot on the ranges at Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA as a member of the Quantico Shooting Club.
Again, I look forward to trading information and engaging with forum members and Savage owners.
