Warranty Repair Question

Good Morning,

It appears my Model 10 is being shipped back after some warranty repair work......total turn around of about 8 weeks. I received a simple email last week letting me know it was being shipped, and it should arrive in 7-10 days.

Does Savage usually send some sort of documentation that describes the repair? Or would I need to reach out to customer service?

The few repairs I have had from Savage came with paperwork that said what was done with no detail as to what the original issue was. Example: replaced barrel. Also included was a 3 shot test target.
This was several years ago though

Yep....pretty much exactly what I received. I ended up reaching out to Customer Service via email and they responded letting me know their gunsmith felt everything was within factory spec.
