Newer 110 Varmints - Like?

Thinking about a newer 110 Varmint. Does anyone have one? Likes/dislikes? I'd be using it for prairie dogs this spring.

I don't have a newer one. I have an old one 112 single shot 22-250 26" SS fluted barrel. It is so boring to shoot hole in a hole at 100 yards every time.

In all seriousness Savage makes great rifles. I think the caliber selection and barrel length are the critical choices. match the tool to the job so to speak. Are you wanting to go out past 400? 600?

I've got a 112V in 243. Ended up buying a 12fcv last night. Now to decide if I can live with the plastic stock.
