Oh, and as for current projects, I just picked up a 110 in 270 that I am going to build off. That being said, when I pull the barrel, anyone interested in a low round count sporter 270 barrel let me know. As of right now I am wanting to build a shorter barrel (20 inch) mule deer gun. Ill go with the traditional look of laminate or solid wood stock and bed it. Nothing really fancy, seeing that all of the factory savages I have shot seem to be very accurate after working up some loads for em. Any thoughts on caliber choice? Cartridge and component availability is a big factory. I am in between 243, 308, 3006. Already have a bunch of stuff for 6.5 creed but come one, it gives an excuse for another caliber!
