New member to the forum, been reading for years finally decided to hop onboard. I’ve been shooting savages my whole life. I spend most of my time outside of work hunting everything I can mostly coyotes, deer and turkeys. I’m a hardcore bow hunter so my rifles are pretty much set aside for predator hunting and target shooting. I have a savage model 11 with a mcgowen barrel chambered in 22 creedmoor, a savage 110 with a shilen barrel chambered in 6.5-284 Norma, and a Stevens 200 soon to be a 22 creedmoor with a carbon6 carbon fiber barrel all with timney triggers. Hoping to learn even more from the group here as a member and looking forward to helping out anyone I can!

What loads are you running out of your 22 Creedmoor. Seems like a fun cartridge but I am unsure as to the benefit it has over the 22 wildcats.

I’m shooting 75 grain hornady eld-m’s loaded with 42.2 grains of h4350 which gets me about 3500fps out of my gun. I’m using it almost strictly for coyote hunting and I love it, with a maximum point blank range zero of 240 yards I can hold dead on a coyote out to 300 yards and pretty much know I’ll hit it as long as I do my part. This way I don’t have to worry as much about ranging in the moment I just hold dead on and shoot. The bullets are absolutely wicked on coyotes and not too bad on fur. Biggest advantage I see to it over other 22 wildcats is factory brass availability along with reamers being designed for longer heavy for caliber bullets.
