I'm Will from NW Indiana. I have Savages in .270 win, 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 win, and 7mm rm. I wouldn't part with any of them.
I like target shooting and whitetail hunting. So far, I've used my 6.5 and .308 for deer, with faster kills with the .308. I use 140 grain Sierra Game kings in the 6.5 and 150 grain Hornady Interlock sp in the .308. Both shoot lights out! Reloading in all the chambers is a lot of fun and something I enjoy almost as much as hunting and the outdoors.
I plan on using some Hornady 140 grain interlock btsp in my .270 and I'm undecided with the 7 mag, although I have some 139 grain interlock sp bullets ready. My goal is to use all 4 as deer rifles, and the .270 is next up. All 4 of them live up to the Savage name and their logo of ,'the definition of accuracy.'
You can't beat the great outdoors or a Savage!
