New Axis II

I recently bought a Savage Axis II SR from my local Academy. It is in 6.5 Creedmore with an 18.5" threaded heavy barrel and an FDE stock.I cannot find any information on it. It isn't listed on Savage's website. Would anyone have any information about it?

Might be a special made to order model for Academy, much like the famous Cabela's 12FV. Not listed in Savage's catalog but just based on a standard model. I am having a custom 18" 6.5 Creed barrel made for a 12FV action I have lying around. Should be fun to shoot. Enjoy it!

I have a Walmart special Axis II with heavy barrel in .223. They also made them in .22-250 and I think 6.5CM.

I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. I'm trying to find some more 6.5 CM first so I can properly sight it in.

I’ve got the same rifle in 6.5, but I have a brush cami stock.
