I'm in need of some help and possible part. I took my Stealth apart to replace the trigger assembly and now I lost or misplaced the spring that holds the safety switch in detent. The safety just slides back and forth with no friction. Trying to fix my problem i called Savage and was told i had to go thru an FFL for the part or parts. I was hoping for an easier way. The FFL I use is so busy now. Can someone post a picture of this safety assembly or hopefully have the parts for sale. This a BA 110 Stealth. Thanks for any help

Seems odd they would need a FFL.

Send an email to support@savagearms.zendesk.com

with your serial number and issue and see what they come back with.

It is really that it must go to a gunsmith for liability reasons. I have signed a release and ordered stuff. They don’t advertise this option and may not do it anymore.

If you just replaced the trigger it is possible that you only need to adjust the over travel and safety set screws. Then again it could be something else of witch I’m not qualified to opine on.

I did replace the trigger and when i went to replace the original back in I either lost or left the safety parts in the removed trigger. Trying to see pictures of this safety system it looks like the safety slides on a spring that goes cross ways in the trigger housing. oldday where in lower Ala do you live, I'm in Mobile. It looks like this spring is a spring that is fat in the middle, could be wrong. Thanks

Checked with customer service and still waiting. I put a rifle basik trigger in and took it out and sold it. I think the safety parts went with it.
