Scope Ring Question

Hi all, what Talley Rings do you use for a 11/111 Lightweight Hunter? I've gotten some conflicting info on what model to order.

The scope is a Leupold VX-3 1.75x6 X 32mm, 1"

Also, would you suggest Low or Medium height for the rings?

Your advise please.

Lower the better in my opinion, as long as the objective lens clears the barrel. I have put 3-9x40 scopes on 3 newer Savages in last few years with the low rings.
No experience with those rings. You’re not going to save much weight on rings. Solid is good.

My experience has been similar to @Leatherstocking. However, I use a DNZ one piece low mount for my 3-9x42 Trijicon AccuPoint my my model 16 LWH.

I put Talley lows on my Tikka. The Burris Fulfield 3-9x40 doesn't have any clearance issues.

I’ve got a couple of Savage LWH actions. I’d go with Tally low rings with your 1.75-6x Leupold scope.
