Savage 220 Slug Gun Rings

I just purchased a Savage 220 slug gun in stainless finish. Last night I installed a EGW picatinny scope base on it and now looking for some scope ring recommendations. I will be installing a Simmons 1.5x5 Pro Diamond turkey scope on it - I know odd choice for scope however I had it laying around.

I was at my LGS yesterday and picked up a set of Leupold American Rifleman one inch medium rings that will fit a picatinny rail. They were manufactured in Singapore (didn't know Leupold farmed out manufacturing overseas). They appeared to a decent set of rings especially given the fact they were $20. I'm hoping they will hold up OK with the mild recoil of the 20 gauge Savage.
