My parents gave me this rifle for Christmas when I was around 12. Shot it so much the breach got notched and would blow out the brass case. Quit shooting it years ago, probably 35,,
Anyway, a buddy of mine looked at it and said we can take it apart and file the breach and fix that problem. It worked,, except upon tearing it apart the cartridge stop slipped away!! It is not the ball bearing type but has a pin and dog bone looking catch. I cannot seem to find this part anywhere. I would love to get this little jewel back up to par cause I have grandkids that I would like to teach gun safety and shooting skills. I'm to the point I would buy another rifle just to duplicate this tiny part. Any help, I would really appreciate. Thanks fellas!!

I just saw this and I don't think it's all that clear what your talking about - I think I got it figured out, a better description might have helped. For those who don't know what a 75-A is, it's a STEVENS Model 75-A, based on of the Savage 29-A pump 22. It was made for Spiegel and could be ordered with a Mossberg scope attached, the barrels were all drilled & tapped for scope blocks.

Jack First has the stops, you would need to make the small pin - https://jack-first-gun-parts.myshopify.com/collections/savage-29-29a-29b/products/savage-29a-b-cartridge-stop-223-29a-301

Cheaper one on eBay - https://www.ebay.com/itm/174508111726
