so moving on from the 110 forum and my question here on bolts,
tomorrow i will fit the bbl'd action to the stock...new bbl is not a savage profile and
i am using a savage / hs precision stock. stock is bedded so once the bbl is clearenced we are
good to go.

stock is clearanced, just took a 1/2 hour or so to clear a bbl section slightly bigger than the original.
now to thread the bbl for the suppressor mount/break.
will need a paying third party to post some pics

in 2020 there is no reason to be using 3rd party services to post a pic.
this is the only site i use with this issue, all other sites allow direct posting.
we have been thru this, i am not changing for one site.

Just upload to imgur then copy the link and paste it here

It is not cheap and is time consuming to run even a small forum.

Yes, sites like this that are small and run by one individual can be 'cheap' with server space. If you want you could offer a donation and maybe the administrator can afford to get some more server space.

If not, then you'll have to do with not posting pictures.

The time and buying hard drive for my raid is not cheap. I run raid 0 with 3 one terabyte SSDs with striping so if one disk goes bad I can pop it out, push in the new SSD and it rebuilds the data on any disk that goes bad with the parity strip that's across the 3.
Its all heavy music but its:

so muzzle threading went very well. timed to the brake with no shims.( i have a 9" suppressor for this project)
so inspect bbl exterior for no major dings or scratches , then off to houston unlimited for SBN treatment.

should be back in 10-14 daysI've been toying with the idea of building a single shot 308 target pistol. I shot one once I it was definitely a handful

I have been scratching my head for several days on how to get the reciever color to match the stock(flat black) and the SBN treated bbl( also flat black)
the stock is bedded which means no coating on the bottom of the receiver. i opted to oven bake some rattle can epoxy..but no one had flat black. i did a light 400 grit sand...got rid of the trigger safety lettering, tapped off the bottom and the in side, the spots where the base sits on the receiver. applied one light coat and baked for 2hr at 170, light steel wool buff and another light coat and another 2 hours of baking. looks ok, only time will tell how it lasts.
