good morning,
new to the savage site but not to savage firearms in general. I am a retired LEO after 31 years of service in a small town in northern Iowa. I have been a hunter/shooter since I was turned loose with my first bb gun. I have owned numerous savages thru the years but am currently down to 4 in calibers in 223. a self built 6.5 creedmoor on a model 11 action, a 7-08 scout and a 7-08 striker pistol. I have followed some of the posts and finally decided to sign up. from what i can tell there is a lot of expert advice on this site and I enjoy the learning process.
