22 250 p dog load

I have a Savage 110 Varmint in 22 250, with a 12 twist. Benn using
50 grain V Max. Just wondering what others may be loading

When I had a 12 twist on my 22-250 I shot the 50 gr. Vmax/Zmax primarily, but did shoot some 55 gr. Vmax from time to time. Then I discovered the 53 gr. Vmax which has a BC comparable to the 60 gr. pills.

Thanks, been shooting the 53 V Max in My 223, will try it in the 22 250. Had good groups with A 50 gr. V Max in 22 250

I had some pretty good groups with the 50s as well. I just wanted a better BC for shooting sage rats at 300-400 yards.... I have a 9 twist on it now...
