Will this stock work on my gun?

Member has for sale a stock that came from a 93R17BTVLSS in 22lr, I have a Mark II FV in 17M2.
Boyds says it will work, Savage says it will not.
I know that I will need trigger guard from savage.
If you have ever handled a rifle like mine you will understand that I need a better stock.
Will it work?

Depends on the age of your gun, and it it has the "E" receiver or not.

1 year old gun. Boyds asked about the step down in the barrel after the receiver, the step is 1 inch instead of 4.

How many pillars does it have?

My plastic stock has 2 screws that hold it to the action. I almost answered that the action has 2. I decided to do the wise thing and take the stock off and look at the action. There are 3 pillars on my receiver. 1 is not used on my stock. I think that is what you are asking.
