264 Winchester Magnum

Has anyone built a 264 Win Mag on a Savage action? If so what did you start with?

Yes.

Started with a standard long action with a mag bolt head and a mag (7mm, 300Win) magazine and follower. Works just fine.

I have a 264 remington BDL stainless that is a tact driver but I am really wanting to get this one put together with 4 more inches of barrel I think I may gain 200 fps over the
3680 with a 100 btip 3880 fps won't be to bad for reaching way out there.

What kind of powder are you using to get 3680 with a 26" tube, I have a Ruger Number 1 on the way.

100 grain ballistic tip's and Reloader 22 72.0 grains 3601fps will put 3 shots in one hole.
H4831 71.0gr 3680 fps
