Hello!

Had a savage 10 precision carbine in .308 win a few years ago and have been beating myself up for getting rid of that gun! So happened to get a good deal on a new 110 storm in 30-06 last weekend so i grabbed it up! Great looking rifle that im excited about trying! Since I am already writing a post I will ask for some advice. Im looking at scope mounting options and after lots of research i still can not decide on what to put on here. Im thinking warne mountain tech rail and rings or leupold mark 4 rail and rings. What does everyone here like? Any other suggestions to look at? Rifle will be a do it all bad weather rifle from pronghorn to elk.

Glad to be here!
Mike

An 06 would put a big hole in those panfish Outlaw, might pay to consider another approach on them.
Here in Florida even the outlaws seem to prefer ultra lite rods and very small jigs.
As for the scope setup, no real need to get fancy with an 06.
Id personally be considering a DNZ Game Reaper mount or a Leupold mount with the windage adjustment in the rear part of the base.

Ultralight fishing is my other passion cant get enough of it! All my other rifles wear Talley lightweights but no room for eye relief adjustment on them. So going to go with a rail setup on this one. I have a burris FF and a leupold vx-1 currently on them and cant really tell the difference so having a hard time deciding on a scope. Thinking a cableas instinct HD pretty good glass from what the internet has said but havent been able to get behind one of them yet.
