I was working on a friends new Savage yesterday and needed to go to Sportsmans Wearhouse in Tucson 3 times. The line at the gun department was at least an hour long. They were selling a new gun about every 5 moments. 4 sales person selling all day long 7 days a week.

I guess you could always call 911 and wait. Maybe offer the bad guy a cold drink while you wait.
Many of the cars were from your part of the country

Well I guess you could say that a tremendous amount of men did not know how to use a firearm when they were drafted into WWII but they learned fast when it got time to defend their families. One thing for sure...they won't learn without one.

In WW II they were "taught" how to use it. Big difference between buying a gun and knowing how to use it.
(Many of the cars were from your part of the country)
That's probably due to all the BS going on in California.
I'am not sure if you can even buy ammo in California without going thru an FFL.
You couldn't, then you could, then the last I heard, you couldn't.

This is for argument's sake but, I'd believe 90% of those buyers chose the wrong
tool. If it's family you will protect, Choose a shotgun with an open choke. Does'nt
take much training. Family is the key word here. Normally most stores will have
shotgun ammo on hand, and never gets hoarded. And if the only thing on the shelf
is Trap Loads ?? No problem.....It still will seriously phug someone up.

I go to the range 3 or 4 times a week and all the trainers are working overtime. It's a large range and over full every day. Most are over 40 and a lot of women. There are 3 ranges within 10 miles of me and their all full. Americans are not as stupid as politicians would like you to believe.
