Helping a friend who is replacing a lost bolt in a 110E.
Aware of the need to check/adjust headspace, but first the bolt needs to fit in the rifle.

I have searched the internet and on this site and from what I can find, this is the correct type of baffle for a 110E.
https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1778128320

His action is not machined for the guide rib on the baffle.

Have also searched Midway, Brownells and eBay for a baffle without the rib. No luck.

Is there a source for the baffle. Savage website doesn't appear to show parts.

Thank you!

The baffle serves little in the way of mechanical function outside of allowing the wave spring something to push on to hold the cross pin in place. The other function is to keep any escaping chamber gasses from exiting via the bolt raceway in case of some failure. In my opinion you can take a file or a grinder, dremel and carefully remove the guide.

Or purchase this one

Thank you for the information and link!

Didn't think of this as an obsolete parts since the newer Edge rifle I have on hand had the baffle without a guide.
