Hi all. Nice to meet you.

Nukemec here. New at this long range shooting stuff as far as actually doing it. I know (I think) all the basic principles of working up a load and accurizing a rifle. I'm SURE I'll learn more as I go along.

I'd be grateful for some help from some of you experienced hands.....I have a Savage model 10 Accu trigger in .308 with a synthetic stock that's about 12 years old. NBF. (Life intervened and prevented me from shooting it, but I'd like to get it going now.)

Situation: I have a short length of pull and need to shorten the stock, but can't find any screw holes in the butt pad to start the job. Is the butt pad glued on?

Thanks!

Nukemec

No. Sorry. Didn't know I could post pics. How is that done here? I'll figure it out and post a pic. :-)

I’ve have never seen a savage stock that was plastic that didn’t have a removable butt pad via screws.
Cheers
