well so i was at a Academy and found a Savage model 11 in .243
it was marked down to 419 they only had the display left and it had scuffs on the stock..
so!!! i talked to the manager and he took another 20$ off the gun so i took it home..
i picked up a box of the federal non typical ammo in 100 grain soft point..
but im wondering since im going to get into reloading where the sweet spot will be
the gun is 1.9 twist and the back of the manual says 70 grain?
how close is the book as a reference ?
200 maybe 300 yards max will what im shooting at
