O.K. Here is my newest stick! I like the .270WSM, it's a great round, but I'm going a little coocoo for the 6.5 booolets so I'm thinking this is going to be a switch barrel .270WSM/6.5WSM with a nitride barrel. Talked to Neil (358Hammer) about it a bit and I'm convinced the nitride will do what I want, which is make the barrel last more than a year! :o ;D This is my second try at modifying a tupperware stock, don't know if I like it as much as the first, but it's o.k. Think I'm gonna go with an aftermarket anyway when I get the 6.5 barrel done.

It had factory camo on it to begin with so I cut it down and formed the wood......

This is the top of the buttstock. I putt bolts in it this time from top to bottom to attach the upper & lower pieces...

I put the fiberglass around it all and sanded, then I painted it a base green to re-camo it up....

Now to make the newly finished stock match the scope & bipod......redneck style ;D...

And one more.......

Then I bedded the stock.....and put it all back together. The groups tightened up a little so I know the bedding was worth it. I really am starting to enjoy playing with these tupperware stocks. I wish I had a few more tools but Harbor Freight seems to have some neat stuff pretty cheap. I still am wanting either a Manners or an McMillan someday, but till then either the modified tupperware or a B&C or the great looking Stockade P-Dog. I really like the P-Dog.... Any advice is appreciated. (Load data for the .270WSM, bullet weights you guys are having luck with, etc....) All I've loaded so far is IMR 4831 and Sierra 130 GK's which have a weird ogive to tip measurement which is causing me to have to load the rounds really short....They are shooting well w/ no wierd pressure signs and are M.O.A. to M.O.A + 1/2 but I don't like how short they are. Gonna get some 135 SMK's to try out. Hopefully these will tell the tale! Hope you all like!!
