60 in lbs for the MDT LSS-XL Gen 2....just looked at my manual. As a side note, the action will likely need machined to take advantage of full mag length.

I would say any more than that ^ and threads will start pulling out of the action. It is not the screw but the fact that you only have about 3-4 threads in the action rather than the 7 needed to go to full torque for that size and pitch screw. You may find that a little less may be sufficient. No lube.

Edit: I did just read a pdf for one of MDT chassis and it said 65 In/lbs

On all my MDT chassis, that I converted to use the center screw....
I used 35 inch lbs on all screws, using a random pattern. like doing
a car wheel, and always starting with the front. From there, I run
the front to 45 inch lbs. Rear and center each go to 40 inch lbs.
65 inch lbs may be supported by the rear screws but way too much
for the front one. The front is a bit thin in the lug area. I'd gather
50 inch lbs would be max in my book.....It's my method and my rifles
are shooters.
