What are my options for a replacement stock for my savage axis in 223. All I am finding is a boyds or a oryx chassis.

I have a Boyd's At-One Thumb hole on my Axis 22-250. I am very happy with it. I turned my rifle from a 2moa gun into a 1/2 mod gun.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200625/e9f28f0dabb0a18d746778a5167249b8.jpg

I have an axis in 308. I am mainly looking at aluminum chassis. If you want a wood stock, go with boyds they are hard to beat. For aluminum chassis, you have XLR Element 3.0, MDT LSS, MDT ESS, MDT (Oryx). These are the main ones I was looking at and will be buying one in November after more research. There are a few more out there, just make sure the stock you order says "Savage Axis" compatible. The other savage long actions and short actions have action screws that are further apart and maybe even different mag well locations. Let me know what you pick and if you find anything else that is not on this list!

MDT makes the Oryx so the MDT LSS will also fit. I am wanting to add one to my Axis .223.
