Yep. Wham-O company is still around but no sling shots. The sling shots are all over ebay...vintage stuff.

ZLOE "Any advice on how to bed the front action and recoil lug?" Lot' of "how to" info online for bedding Savages but I don't think that is the problem.

My suggestion would be to have a good look down the barrel with a borescope or borescope camera. If you don't already have a Teslong, or something like it, you really don't know what you don't know, ya know?

My barrel looks like the moons surface when it’s clean. Few foul shots and it’s back to big holes.

Great suggestions. Thanks.

Any advice on how to bed the front action and recoil lug?
trigger is actually very good (accutrigger) light and crisp

Check my started threads.
All you need is painters tape, wax and JB weld.

I'd post a picture of the groups I'm getting (they do seem to be improving slightly, 4" instead of 5". But I have neither the time nor the energy to create a file sharing account in order to post it.

Not true, I can show you on paper. I take my 1/7 ultra match and put 55 gr pills down it, they fly everywhere. I put 62 up to 78 gr and it tightens up with 68-70 giving me pin point acuuracy just as I take my true nato chambered rifle and put 223 rem through it, it shoots like crap but I put nato ammo through it, it tightens up, now I take my 223 wylde that was designed to bridge the gap and shoot both safely and accurately and it does exactly that

Sent from my SM-N975U using TapatalkThe wylde chamber is a 556 chamber. It is the Canadian 556 chamber. They were using a different profile on their 55gr bullets and the the change made a huge difference for them.

I once had a new rifle that had poor accuracy. Shots at 50 yards were stringing horizontal. I found the scope rail screws were just a mite to long for the tapped holes and even screws were tight it allowed the scope mount to move.
