.284 winchester mag options for a short action

I’m currently running a short action in .284 winchester, Previously using a Bell&Carlson stock and had zero issues with bullet setting depth . I’ve since dropped my barreled action into a MDT short action chassis , However i’m having not luck finding a mag that will except my cartridge AOL. Knowing what I know now I should’ve went with a long action Knowing what I know now I should’ve went with a long action chassis . Any help would be great.

Sound like you need to ditch the chassis and switch back to a stock.

3.15" is way to long for a SA mag. Even modified MDT steel mags only get you 2.96". That must be one deeply cut throat...
