60GR. bULLETS

Has anybody tried 60GR. BULLETS IN THEIR 12tw. BARREL IF SO HOW DID THEY DO?
Yes it is a 22-250 factory Savage barrel. Interested in accuracy on paper and varmints.

What caliber. I assume by 12tw you mean a 1:12 twist rifling or is that a Savage Model 12TW? What range?

Are you interested in accuracy on paper or performance on varmints?

In my .223AI w/ 1:12 twist , running flat out with a healthy dose of H4895 the Sierra 60 HP Varmiters are the most accurate bullet Ive shot.

If you have a stock 12 twist Savage, I'm guessing that you must be asking in reference to a 22-250. Yes, it'll do fine.

60 grain is all I use in my Savage 22-250 12 twist barrel.
