I see midway lists both right adn left hand bolt heads.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they are the same thing, right? One just has to roll it correct to reverse?

I ask b/c they have a LH in stock, and not a RH. . .

I don't think so. Seems like they are mirror images. Memory tells me there is a small groove machined on the lower portion of one lug that matches up with the receiver.

I can check the safe when I get home tonight and compare my LH with my son-in-laws RH.

Different bolt heads for left port and right port, because the extractor & ejector need to be reversed.

Left hand and Right hand bolt heads appear to be mirror images. Left hand on the left, right hand on the right.

Try flipping one over if you get a chance, I don't see any machining that would inhibit the insertion of a LH head upside down in a RH action, effectively putting the extractor/ejector on the right side. . .

Yes, you can swap the boltheads and it will extract, but the problem is with the ejection. It will end up on top and push the brass down and in, instead of up and out.

Looks that way to me, too.
