savage 10 receiver with round top

what i'm looking for is a buy once, cry once type of thing. looking for a one piece STEEL rail WITH recoil lug. from a manufacturer with a good track record. so one with stated steel specs please. i can't seem to find any with these specs. the badger ordnance looks to be the only player in the game yet i cant find anything other than the one stock photo of it and not a single review.

Now that looks promising, but still no recoil lug and I don't like trusting the screws to deal with it.

Call Cameron Murphy. He is the owner and a really great guy to deal with. He will hook you up.

I have used his rails on 300 win mag and 338 Lapua without issue.

What are you putting the rail on that you are worried about a recoil lug?

It's not a heavy hitter just a 6-5 Creedmoor but I've learned from past experience and having ovaled rail mounting holes that I won't put another rail on that doesn't have a recoil lug. Not that concerned with price as I'm looking at an optic that's probably going to cost me about a grand just want to be sure that base and rings are up to par

Ken Farrell makes one as well. I have one of these on my 375 Ruger and it works very well.

that actually looks like a pretty nice system there. price is nice too to be honest. just might go with that. thanks for the link

Once you mount the rail on the receiver. I like China branded rails. Price [emoji4]
You can blob a dollop of JB weld in the corner rail meets receiver. Drill a small pilot hole in the rail if you wish for extra tack.
Bed the rear of any rail to the receiver and it’s not going to move if you torque it correctly with a drop of loc tight
