Hi! I have a question.. Does Savage rifles have a Mauser action Controlled feed or Push feed?
And how Savage stands against Winchester 70 and Mauser M12?

Definitely not a controlled Mauser feed. Similar to the Rem 700 in that it has a button ejector on the bolt face and a small extractor. Works, but not Mauser-like.

But a bonus if you want to feed one at a time from an empty magazine.

As far as vs. a M70 . . . Savage is mostly similar to the post-'64 style push-feed for bolt head (not current production). But the Savage has a "floating" head that is rumored more accurate.

Mauser M12 is nothing like either. Closer to a Browning or Weatherby.

All are more than adequate for what they are chambered in. Savage has a reputation for shooting with the best but costing less.

Prior to 2009,Savage did make control fed actions on the WSM chambered rifles.
